Privacy Notice

1. Introduction

MediaComz International (“we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data in our possession or under our control.

This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) explains how we collect, use, disclose, process, protect and retain personal data in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”).

This Notice applies to individuals who interact with us, including our customers, prospective customers, website visitors, business contacts, suppliers, service providers, contractors and job applicants.

This Notice applies to personal data in our possession or under our control, including personal data processed on our behalf by third-party service providers.

3. How We Collect Personal Data

We may collect personal data:

  2. when you submit an enquiry, request, application or other information through our website;
  3. through email, telephone calls, meetings, correspondence or other communications;
  4. when you enter or conduct a business relationship or transaction with us;

4. Purposes for Collection, Use and Disclosure

We may collect, use and disclose personal data for purposes including:

  1. responding to and processing enquiries, requests, applications, complaints and feedback;
  2. providing, administering and supporting our products, professional services and business activities;
  3. preparing quotations, proposals, agreements and other business documentation;

We will not collect, use or disclose personal data for purposes beyond what a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances.

5. Disclosure of Personal Data

We may disclose personal data, where necessary for the purposes described in this Notice, to third parties including:

  1. service providers, contractors and agents engaged to perform services on our behalf;
  2. information technology, cloud, hosting, telecommunications and other technology service providers;
  3. professional advisers, including legal advisers, auditors, consultants and insurers;

  5. recruitment agencies, background screening providers and other recruitment-related service providers;

Where third parties process personal data on our behalf, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate data protection arrangements are in place.

6. Withdrawal of Consent

Consent provided for the collection, use or disclosure of personal data will remain valid until it is withdrawn by you in writing.

You may withdraw your consent to our continued collection, use or disclosure of your personal data for any or all applicable purposes by submitting a written request to our Data Protection Officer (“DPO”) using the contact details provided below.

Upon receiving your request, we will inform you of the likely consequences of withdrawing your consent. Depending on the nature and extent of the withdrawal, we may no longer be able to provide certain products or services, process an application, or continue a particular relationship with you.

We will process your withdrawal request within a reasonable period and generally seek to give effect to the withdrawal within ten (10) business days.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect our right to continue collecting, using, disclosing or retaining personal data where such processing is permitted or required under the PDPA or other applicable laws.

7. Marketing Communications

Where applicable, we may use your contact information to send you information about our services, events or other business-related updates where you have consented to receive such communications or where otherwise permitted by applicable law.

You may withdraw your consent to receive marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe facility provided in the communication, where available, or by contacting our DPO.

Where we conduct marketing through telephone calls, text messages or other channels regulated by Singapore's Do Not Call provisions, we will comply with the applicable requirements.

8. Access to and Correction of Personal Data

You may submit a request to:

  1. obtain access to personal data about you that is in our possession or under our control, and information about the ways in which such personal data has been used or disclosed within the period prescribed under the PDPA; or
  2. correct an error or omission in your personal data that is in our possession or under our control.

Requests should be submitted in writing to our DPO using the contact details provided below.

A reasonable fee may be charged for an access request where permitted under the PDPA. If a fee applies, we will inform you of the estimated fee before processing your request.

We will respond to access and correction requests as soon as reasonably possible and in accordance with applicable requirements under the PDPA.

Where we are unable to provide access to personal data or make a requested correction, we will generally inform you of the reason, except where we are not required to do so under applicable law.

9. Accuracy of Personal Data

We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that personal data collected by or on our behalf is accurate and complete where it is likely to be used to make a decision that affects you or disclosed to another organisation.

We generally rely on personal data provided by you or your authorised representative. You should inform us as soon as reasonably practicable if there are changes to your personal data so that our records can be kept accurate and up to date.

10. Protection of Personal Data

We implement reasonable administrative, physical and technical security arrangements to protect personal data in our possession or under our control against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks.

Access to personal data is restricted to authorised persons who require such access for legitimate business purposes.
