14th Dynamic Positioning Asia Conference & Exhibition Returns to Singapore

The 14th Dynamic Positioning Asia Conference & Exhibition returns to Singapore on 21–22 May 2026 at the Concorde Hotel Singapore, bringing together leading industry professionals, technical experts, vessel operators, contractors and solution providers from across the dynamic positioning (DP) sector.
Recognised as one of the key regional DP events in Asia, the conference is organised with the support of the Marine Technology Society Dynamic Positioning Committee and the International Marine Contractors Association. The two-day event will feature a comprehensive programme of expert-led workshops, technical discussions and industry updates focused on the future of DP operations, safety and performance.
Conference Theme
This year’s conference theme, “Back to Brilliant Basics, Validating Single Fault Tolerance of DP Vessels to Deliver Cumulative Risk Management and Performance Objectives,” highlights the industry’s continued focus on strengthening operational reliability, safety assurance and risk mitigation across DP vessel operations.
As offshore and marine operations continue to evolve, the conference will explore how fundamental DP principles, combined with advancing technologies and stronger performance validation, can support safer and more efficient vessel operations.
Conference Programme Highlights
Delegates can look forward to an engaging programme covering the latest developments, operational challenges and emerging technologies within the DP industry, including:
- Expert Workshops: Industry-led workshops and technical discussions, including the MTS DP Workshop “EBCV2, Evidence or Imagination?” and sessions focused on DP assurance and verification tools.
- Technical Evolution: Insights into next-generation DP technologies, including Optical Local Position Reference Sensors, shallow water DP reference systems and Low Earth Orbit (LEO) GNSS advancements.
- Risk & Performance Management: Discussions addressing GNSS threats, hidden failure detection, consequence analysis, hybrid DP power systems and operational resilience for safer DP operations.
- Industry Standards & Reporting: Updates on DP training and certification developments, IMCA DP event reporting and the latest industry guidance and standards shaping offshore DP operations.
Bringing the Industry Together
The conference serves as an important platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing and professional networking among vessel owners, operators, engineers, marine contractors, technology providers and regulatory stakeholders.
Alongside the conference sessions, the exhibition will showcase the latest DP technologies, innovations and solutions shaping the future of offshore and marine operations in the region.
